To contribute to these national objectives, we recently conducted a comprehensive training program aimed at raising awareness and sharing knowledge about sustainability and ESG reporting.
Fairmont Doha is committed to providing staff training with Diversey to ensure safe and efficient way of using chemicals used in Laundry. Diversey training educates users on the correct use of chemicals, personal protective equipment, and best practices to reduce exposure. By implementing advanced formulations and packaging, Diversey aims to reduce the environmental impact of their products, ensuring a safer, more sustainable approach to hygiene and cleaning.
The Climate Action Project is a free 6-week project allowing teachers and students ages 3-21 to collaborate on environmental topics. Over the course of the project, classrooms will explore causes and effects of climate change and will have the opportunity to develop solutions and take action.
تفعيلاً لاسبوع الاستدامة القطري تم تعزيز معنى الاستدامة للأطفال من منتسبي برنامج البراعم ( من 4 إلى 5 سنوات) حيث تم طلب منهم إحضار القصاصات ومخلفات العلب المعدنية والكرتونية لإعادة استخدامها في صناعة المقالم لهم.
كما أن منتسبات المركز من اليافعات وكبار السن تم إحضار قصاصاصا الأقمشة والاكسسوارات لتصنيع زينة للشعر من أطواق وغيرها ..بالإضافة لصناعة المسكات للأوعية الساخنة.
استفاد من هذه المبادرة 45 منتسب.
برنامج انطلق من دور قطر الخيرية في تعزيز قيم المواطنة من خلال تحقيق الوعي وتيسير الفهم لرؤية قطر 2030 لليافعين في المجتمع القطري من طلاب المدارس ، من خلال مشاريع وأنشطة متنوعة تم التخطيط والإعداد لها من فرق عمل متخصصة ،وكان من مخرجاتها 17 مشروع نوعياً قدمته طالبات المرحلة الإعادية والثانوية في مجال الابتكار والتصميم وذلك بالشراكة مع وزارة البيئة والتغيير المناخي ورابطة تعليم الأحياء من جامعة قطر.

City Centre Rotana planning to conduct No Bin Day in Colleagues Cafeteria to reduce the food waste and give awareness about the Sustainability practices and commitments. During the meals there will be signages and volunteers to monitor and explain the importance of this practice . This practice will be continued monthly once.
