- Encouraging guests to take part in towel/bed linen reuse programs by placing informative tent cards in rooms. Helps reduce the energy and water necessary for laundry.

- Use of low flow toilets and showerheads; Installation of infra red activated faucets in public restrooms.

- Maintaining regularly plumbing fixtures and piping to avoid water losses.

- In house Sewage treatment plant, treated water is used to irrigate the plants in the resort.

- Implementation of drip irrigation system.

Heenat Salma is an Eco-Farm and Camp, located in Shahaniya, north-west of Doha.

During the Qatar Green Week we are having: Exhibition, Tours, workshops and tree plantation activities.

As a nursery, we have planted some plants last academic year but this year, we want to further incorporate it into our curriculum to make planting and caring for them a daily routine.

The children will start off with seeding mid of September and be able to see the growth. We can't wait to add a splash of natural green to our space for the children ranging from 1-4 years of age.

We want to implement having a compost bin to the nursery so we can use organic food scraps for it and in turn, generate compost for our plants.

ROOTS Energy & Engineering Services regularly sends its wastes papers and plastics to recycling facilities as part of its environmental initiatives

Our Little Gardener Academy will be up and running every Wednesday! As part of QSW2022, the session of the 12th of October will be dedicated to sustainability and greener life! The kids will learn how to care for the planet by separating different materials for recycling, how to reduce their waste by selecting products with less packaging and we will discuss about composting as a way to reduce our home waste.

As part of our mission to encourage people to enjoy more outdoor time and contact with nature, Hadiqaa is partnering with Esqalar climbing wall, to offer a gardening session for the members of Esqalar.
