📄 Recycled Paper Mache Creations
Date: November 1 – 5, 2025
Employees must collect recyclable paper and create paper mache figures in advance, as they require time to dry.
On Thursday, November 6, 2025, during the awareness session, employees will paint their pre-made creations.
📌 Glues and paints will be provided at all locations.
This event challenges the CMU-Q community—students, faculty, and staff—to participate in a car-free day by utilizing sustainable transport options like the tram, metro, e-bikes, and e-scooters. The highlight is the EcoCampus Tram Tour & Sustainability Scavenger Hunt, an interactive journey designed to familiarize participants with the Education City transport network and highlight key campus sustainability features along the route.

The event combines two core activities: a food waste reduction campaign based on the QF initiative and an upcycling project addressing paper waste.
This event, titled "Turn Off Tuesday" with the theme "Lights Off," is a campus-wide initiative at Carnegie Mellon University in Qatar (CMU-Q) designed to promote energy conservation, raise environmental awareness, and encourage social interaction.

What: A rejuvenating experience combining a Good Health Session with a calming Sound Bath.
This event is a collaborative initiative between EcoCampus and the Chicken Legs Club of Carnegie Mellon University in Qatar. It encourages physical activity and teamwork within the university community. The challenge runs from November 1 through November 5. It promotes physical activity, contributing to better personal health and well-being. It also encourages collaboration and camaraderie among diverse members of the CMU-Q community (faculty, staff, students).
