Save Energy, Save Future – Student-driven initiatives and creative demonstrations on reducing energy consumption.
Optimizing Energy Use:
To reduce our energy footprint, we’ve adopted the practice of using air conditioners on auto mode or turning them off when not in use. Additionally, we’re ensuring all lights are turned off when not needed and, as a collective pledge, turning off lights during lunch time daily as part of our environmental commitment.
Sustainable Printing Practices:
ABS Qatar Office is implementing sustainable printing practices such as double-sided printing, and recycling printer cartridges in recycle bin. By setting default printing preferences carefully, we’ve reduced unnecessary paper usage, helping to minimize office waste.
Volunteer Work in the Community:
We will contribute to the beautification and preservation of our surrounding areas by volunteering for cleanup events in the local community. This practical effort strengthens our ties to the local environment and inspires civic pride.
Taking the Stairs:
Our team has embraced greater physical activity by choosing the stairs instead of elevators, reducing energy consumption while also promoting health and wellness. We will do this practice as much as and as practical as possible.
