It's a carbon footprint awareness event, to clarify the impact of carbon footprint on our planet, and the necessity to take action.

During Qatar Sustainability Week 2020, Qatar Academy Primary Students will be planting trees and seasonal flowers to enhance school grounds, improve air quality and extend learning engagements that equip us as future change agents for a sustainable world. We continue to strive to become a Green Flag Eco-School by participating in the Global Climate Action Project, Jane Goodall's #plantED initiative and Qatar Sustainability Week.

Crowne Plaza Doha and Holiday Inn Doha – The Business Park are doing a carpool day among its staff. Carpooling is better for the environment; fewer cars on the road means reduced Greenhouse Gas (GHG) emissions and improved air quality and thus, reduce in air pollution related health risks.

Awareness event to raise the awareness about plastic pollution and how we can reduce on individuals and business levels.

An array of healthy, sustainable smoothie options will be served in Crowne Plaza Doha and Holiday Inn Doha – The Business Park’s staff cafeteria on Sunday, 1^st of November. The smoothies will not only be healthy but will be made with sustainable ingredients and more environment-friendly alternatives.

Vegan options will be served in Crowne Plaza Doha and Holiday Inn Doha – The Business Park’s staff cafeteria for breakfast and lunch. Reducing meat intake has many benefits for the carbon footprint, animal welfare, antibiotic resistance and health.

Crowne Plaza Doha and Holiday Inn Doha – The Business Park will hold a group fun run among its staff at Aspire Park to mark Qatar Sustainability Week.

Crowne Plaza Doha and Holiday Inn Doha – The Business Park will wrap up its Qatar Sustainability Week participation by hosting friendly sports match among its staff. Sports played will be badminton, volleyball and basketball.
