The Science and Sustainability Club of Qatar Academy Sidra at the Secondary School has launched an initiative to help the environment and fight climate change. This initiative aims mainly at swapping unused uniform that may be suitable to wear.
The aim of this initiative:
Ø Working together to fight climate change and to save the environment.
Ø Educating the community about saving our resources and not wasting them.
-استخدام أجهزة و تركيبات موفرة للمياه
-تتبع ومراقبة الاستهلاك
-استخدام التركيبات والأجهزة ذات العلامات البيئية
-إطفاء الأنوار والأجهزة الإلكترونية غير المستخدمة
-ضبط درجة حرارة مكيف الهواء على 22-24 درجة مئوية عند الحاجة
-تقليل نفايات الطعام
-حفظ بقايا طعامي لوقت لاحق
-استخدام السيارات الهجينة أو الكهربائية

Warwick Doha Hotel Donation Day. "Donation in-Kind," and it will be for clothing and other goods that the workers no longer require, which will be donated to the Qatar Charity.
مسابقة ومجلة مواهب الاستدامة 2021، هي مسابقة وطنية على مستوى المدارس الشريكة لمنظمة علم لأجل قطر وتهدف الى إكتشاف وتنمية المواهب في مدارس دولة قطر، وإثراء الحياة التعليمية بمفاهيم وقيم الاستدامة المنبثقة من رؤية قطر 2030، وتعزيز التعاون والشراكة وتبادل الخبرات والمعرفة بين مدارس دولة قطر. سيشارك في المسابقة ما لا يقل عن 50 طالب وطالبة وسيتم إصدار مجلة مواهب الاستدامة إلكترونياً وتوزيع نسخة ورقية منها تحفظ في مكتبة المدارس المشاركة.

ENERGY
Using energy more efficiently and opting for renewable energy sources is essential for combating climate change and for lowering an organisation’s overall environmental footprint.
Les Roses Real Estate along with OCS Qatar has increased a number of recycling bins within the Compounds in order to continue educating employees and residents to segregate waste in a responsible and sustainable manner. Education material has been distributed to all residents and gradual improvement is constantly observed. Additionally an internal communication campaign has been launched within Les Roses Real Estate and OCS employees to promote sustainable culture.
