Eco Warriors initiative - Eco-conscious Year 4

Energy Use: During our electricity unit, we learned about the different sources of renewable energy as a more sustainable approach to power usage. Some of the sources we explored were solar, hydro and wind power. Rainforests: In our most recent geography topic, we are exploring the amazing things rainforests provide us with, as well as the threats facing these ecosystems. We have looked at how different organisations, companies and individuals view the rainforest and how it should be utilised (or not). We debated the impact of deforestation and how extracting valuable materials from rainforests can be done more sustainably.
