Across kindergarten and primary grades, we will be celebrating sustainability week by planting, recycling/reusing plastic water bottles and paper, and having a morning of no technology or devices for an hour.

SUSTAINABILITY EXPO: SHAPING A GREENER FUTURE The final event for the week will be celebrated at the auditorium with a series of events such as display of eco-friendly swags created by our students and models along with the best performances of the competitions held followed by the Award Ceremony.
CRAFTING A GREENER TOMORROW Green Festival, Students will decorate their classroom's soft boards on any of the following themes:
1. How does our current resource consumption and waste generation affect the planet's ecosystems and natural resources?
2. Are we addressing the needs and concerns of future generations in our sustainability efforts?
GREEN HORIZONS Sustainability revolution: Interactive Workshop Dr Jibin’s Workshop will be conducted for the students of y11, 12 &13.
Day 2- MEATLESS MONDAY Vegan Food
- Students and teachers bring vegan food indicating the farm to table practice.
- Sustainable Catering Challenge along with Parental Community. A cooking competition will be hosted where students prepare dishes using locally sourced (Qatar Made), sustainable ingredients. Judges can evaluate taste, creativity, and environmental impact.
Day 1 - ECO-CHAMPION CHALLENGE INTER & INTRA SCHOOL COMPETITIONS
- Environmental Trivia Quiz: Questions related to sustainable goals and implementations.
- Trash to Treasure: Students from different campuses will transform old/discarded items into unique work of art like notepads, eco bags, Paper Art, Accessories and creating wax crayons Together for a sustainable tomorrow.
Chefs Garden aims to decrease food waste across its outlets and avoid single use plastics such as disposable plastic items.
In this initiative, The QNCC team conducts a meticulous examination of energy infrastructure, consumption patterns, and operational processes. QNCC identify inefficiencies, energy waste, and areas for improvement. Through cutting-edge technology and industry-leading practices, we pinpoint opportunities for integrating renewable and eco-friendly energy solutions. Our goal is to help reduce our carbon footprint, lower energy costs, and enhance overall operational sustainability
Company Initiatives: RECYCLE • Used plastic bottles will be collected from all the Nehmeh locations and showrooms. • Proceeds of the collectibles will go to charitable deeds. REUSE • Used sheets of paper will be collected from all the Nehmeh locations and showrooms. • Collected sheets will be bound and repurposed into notebooks for office reusing. REDUCE • During the week-long initiative, an “Energy-Saving Nehmeh Products” awareness will be held. • Certain Nehmeh locations will have a corner that’s dedicated for showcasing the Nehmeh products that have lower energy requirements when used.
SUSTAINABILITY WEEK ‘SUSTAINNOVATION’ at The next Generation School will be celebrated under the theme ‘From Actions to ideas’ with a series of events and Inter & Intra school competitions judged by our panel of teachers as per the following schedule.
