Gardening for a Cause
InterContinental Doha Gardening started in May 2017 where employees planted varieties of vegetable outside the Colleagues Cafeteria Tent. The planted vegetables have grown and now ready for harvest. During Qatar Sustainability Week 2017, we are moving to our second phase of gardening to plant additional vegetable varieties.

Shams Generation
Shams Generation (Shams is Arabic for sun), is QSTec's multi-award winning solar learning and sustainability initiative for primary years students right through to university level. This hands-on learning experience has reached over 10,000 students in 20 schools across Qatar. Students use solar learning kits that are supplied by QSTec to create amazing works of solar art that combine light, movement and recycled materials.
