EXHIBITION GUIDELINES

Photographers and photography enthusiasts are invited to submit their entries for The Architects’ Hub Qatar “Architecture Photography Exhibition”. This exhibition intends to harness the power of ‘visual storytelling’ to draw attention to vital issues of sustainability facing urbanity in the world at large with specific reference to Qatar and to showcase aspects of a sustainable life style through architecture and design.

Categories

All submissions must address the main theme “Creating a Greener Design Mindset – Building Better Cities” and fall within these general five categories:

• Aspects of Fragile Earth - show facets of the problems that we face in our world today and why adopting a sustainable mindset is imperative to saving the fragile balance of our earth.
• Aspects of Qatari vernacular architecture - showcase elements of architecture and the vocabulary of architecture that are local to Qatar. It can be buildings, spaces, patterns or other elements.
• Aspects of a sustainable lifestyle - showcase examples of sustainablity in design in Qatar and globally. It can be what a sustainable life style looks like or innovations that support a sustainable lifestyle.
