Following the update of its NDC and the publication of its National Climate Change Action Plan in 2021, the State of Qatar is scaling up climate action. Refining and expanding current plans will require extensive analysis and the use of appropriate tools. Energy systems models (ESMs) are a key tool that is increasingly used around the world by governments of developed and developing countries alike. ESMs play a pivotal role in the development of national climate change policies and sector-specific strategies for energy efficiency and low-carbon technologies.

During Qatar Sustainability Week 2023, Qatar Museums (QM) is delighted to organize an "Educational Workshop" for school students in grades 9 through 12. We've extended invitations to esteemed sustainability experts who will deliver informative presentations on a wide range of sustainability topics. Together with the team from the National Museum of Qatar (NMOQ), we'll facilitate interactive workshop activities with the students. This event is specifically designed to champion sustainability and inspire students to adopt a more eco-conscious and sustainable mindset.

ضمن فعاليات وزارة التربية والتعليم بداية العام الأكاديمي 2023-2024 في الأسبوع الأول من بداية العام الدراسي وهي فعالية تطوير مهني تشمل جميع الكوادر الحكومية و حضور لقادة المدارس في ورشة التنمية المستدامة في المدارس تقديم اللجنة الوطنية القطرية للتربية والثقافة والعلوم – اليونسكو حيث تم عرض ممارسات متميزة لمدرسة قطر الابتدائية للبنات لرسومات الطالبات أثناء حصص الفنون البصرية لأشجار المانجروف والقصص المصورة للمواقع الأثرية كالزبارة والتغييرات المناخية والتي تهدف لنشر ثقافة الاستدامة وربطها بمادة الفنون البصرية بإشراف المعلمة نوف آ ل ثاني وتم عرض ممارسات مختلفة للتنمية المستدامة لعدة مدارس الهد
