Description:

Hirfa – an initiative by Step by Step – empowers individuals with special needs through creative and sustainable vocational crafts. As part of the Qatar Sustainability Campaign, Hirfa will conduct two hands-on eco-friendly craft sessions:

STEM Xplorers’ Sustainability in Action session invites students to explore environmental stewardship through engaging, hands-on science activities that spark curiosity and inspire responsible choices. Designed for children aged 7–12, this one-hour program blends inquiry-based learning with real-world sustainability challenges, helping students understand how science can be used to protect and preserve our planet.

The sustainable transportation workshop and project making involves learning about eco-friendly mobility options like cycling, public transit, and electric vehicles, and then developing projects to promote and implement them. Projects focus on areas like improving public transit accessibility, promoting carpooling, advocating for better bike infrastructure, and designing innovative green vehicle solutions. The ultimate goal is to create safe, efficient, and accessible transportation systems that minimize environmental impact and address future needs

💡 Switch Off Sunday
A campus-wide effort to turn off unnecessary lights and promote energy conservation awareness.

As an Eco School, the intent of Green Routines is to embed some of our previous year's themes/action points consistently within school and encourage green behaviours at home.

This workshop, which will be delivered to GEMSAAQ high school students, explores how collaboration, creativity, and shared purpose can empower young people to contribute effectively to sustainability goals. It focuses on building strong, resilient teams that inspire collective action, foster leadership, and drive meaningful change. Participants will learn practical ways to transform individual passion into teamwork that sustains success for the future.

Design a fun, creative, and visually striking poster that delivers a strong message about sustainability and responsibility.

Winning Design: 
The most creative, fun, attractive, and message-driven design will be painted directly onto the planters—with the designer’s name displayed!

ورشة زراعية لطالبات الصف الثامن - التاسع مدرسة هند بنت عمرو الانصارية الاعدادية للبنات

نظمت بلدية ام صلال ورشة زراعية بعنوان ( لنزرع من اجل مستقبل اخضر)

تضمنــت الورشة تقديــم شــرح تفصيلــي لخطــوات الزراعــة للــطالبات ، الى  جانــب تطبيــق عملــي لزراعــة شــتلات الازهـار فـي سـاحة المدرسـة، كمـا شـملت محاضـرة توعويـة تناولـت أهميـة الزراعـة ودورهـا فـي الحفـاظ علـى البيئـة وتعزيـز رفــاه المجتمــع. واختتمــت الفعاليــة بتوزيــع شــتلات الازهــار علــى الــطالبات ، بهــدف تشــجيعهم علــى ممارســتها فــي منازلهـم، وترسـيخ قيـم االهتمـام بالبيئـة فــي نفوســهم.
