Eco-Creations by Hirfa: Crafting Sustainability with Inclusion

Hirfa – an initiative by Step by Step – empowers individuals with special needs through creative and sustainable vocational crafts. As part of the Qatar Sustainability Campaign, Hirfa will conduct two hands-on eco-friendly craft sessions:

1. Jute Burlap Placemats – Participants will create reusable placemats using natural jute fabric, encouraging the reduction of single-use plastic and promoting sustainable dining habits.
2. Decoupage Coasters – Participants will upcycle wooden bases using eco-friendly decoupage techniques, turning simple materials into functional, artistic home decor items.

Through these activities, Hirfa aims to spread awareness on sustainability, inclusion, and the value of handcrafted, environmentally responsible products made by individuals of determination.
