OCS Qatar is the FM provider of Les Roses Real Estate (LRRE) portfolio and we are proud to partake in the implementation of the new Recycling program at Les Roses Compounds, starting from October 2019. Recycling the paper, cardboard, plastic and metal from our residents household will actively help reduction of the amount of waste which is a crucial and simple step towards building a greener community. We will be initiating Educational workshops for the residents of LRRE to ensure success of the initiative.

Recycling is now available at Les Roses Compounds!
Les Roses Real Estate and OCS Qatar are pleased to announce that we are adding recycling service for residents and launching a new recycling program in our compounds starting from October 2019.
Recycling the paper, cardboard, plastic and metal from our residents household will help reduce the amount waste which is a crucial and simple step to building a greener community.
ECGC employees will gather to do the litter picking within the vicinity. Employees will be divided into groups and will have their own assignment of the area of their responsibility for this activity.
The idea is to give all the customers at Falcon Fruits & Vegetables (a popular produce shop in West Bay) the possibility to purchase and start using reusable bags for their produce.
Reusable bags will be put up for sale at the store and accompanied by a poster encouraging shoppers to take the opportunity of Qatar Sustainability Week to buy such bags and commit to change.
We know that once we own reusable bags, we are more likely to walk away from plastic bags and to say no to other types of single-use plastic as well.
Naufar kitchen takes an initiative in recycling food waste from the preparation. This stage takes a vital part in the process in which the vegetable peels that usually ends up in the trash are being used and recycled (usable part). Trimmings and peels are roasted, boiled to make vegetable stock. The stock is used in the dishes to enhance its flavor.
