Exchange Program for Students Focused on Leadership and Addressing Climate Change

We are pleased to announce that MEPI Student Leaders Program (SLP) is now accepting applications until December 18, 2023. The SLP is a rigorous leadership and civic engagement program tailored for 20-24 year old undergraduate or graduate students, recent graduates, or those commencing graduate studies, with a strong commitment to addressing climate change and environmental protection.

Charity Donation Drive

We extend a warm invitation to the local community to actively participate in our initiative. Kindly consider contributing clothing items—segregated for kids, women, and men—as well as any non-perishable food items you may wish to donate. Your involvement not only fosters community engagement but also aligns with the principles of sustainability, promoting a collective effort towards a greener and more resilient future.

Blood Donation

A group of volunteers from the company will take part in a blood donation campaign on Friday 17th November 2023 as part of Qatar Sustainability Week. This will be held at Kims Health Medical Centre in Mashaf.

Oryx Group's Sustainable Initiatives

Embracing sustainability, Oryx Group for Food Services pledges to make a positive impact during Qatar Sustainability Week 2023. Our initiatives include the complete elimination of plastic drinking bottles, opting for reusable cutleries, reducing water and electricity consumption to conserve power, and implementing the Paper Printing Control Initiative.

Mandarin Oriental, Doha's Third Natural Landscapes Conservation Initiative

Mandarin Oriental, Doha is keeping its commitment to environmental responsibility by conducting its third Natural Landscapes Conservation initiative in partnership with Doha Environmental Actions Project (DEAP), a leader in Qatar for raising environmental awareness in the fight against plastic pollution. On 02 November during Qatar Sustainability Week (QSW) 2023, 39 colleagues of Mandarin Oriental, Doha conducted a conservation activity at the North-West beach in Al Zubarah Archaeological Site, a UNESCO World Heritage site, collecting 130 kg of waste washed off ashore.
