Panel Discussion on Climate Change and the Arab World

The Hamad Bin Khalifa University (HBKU) Sustainability Council is arranging a panel discussion about climate change and the Arab world. Climate change refers to long-term shifts in temperatures and weather patterns. These shifts may be natural, but since the 1800s, human activities have been the main driver of climate change, primarily due to burning fossil fuels (like coal, oil, and gas), which produce heat-trapping gases. Being the center of oil and gas production, the Middle East makes a lot of greenhouse gases.
