A community basketball game bringing kids together through sport, wellbeing and sustainability, hosted on Alfardan’s recycled-rubber basketball courts at Al Gassar Resort. 

Around 20 Scouts (ages 12-18) will participate in this activity as part of the Mangrove restoration Project with Earthna. The day will include hands-on restoration activities such as site maintenance, removing seaweed from mangrove seedlings and trees, and of course the opportunity for each participant to choose and plant a mangrove that speaks to their heart! The visit will be guided by the project’s Chief Scientist, Dr. Aspa, who will share the story behind the project, the importance of mangroves in Qatar, and the challenges and opportunities of restoring these ecosystems.
