Mannai Energy, in collaboration with private school, organized an educational activity as part of Qatar Sustainability Day to promote awareness of the importance and benefits of solar energy. Through engaging demonstrations using solar-powered models and devices, students experienced firsthand how sunlight can be harnessed to generate power. This initiative aimed to introduce young learners to the concept of renewable energy in an interactive and age-appropriate manner, fostering environmental consciousness from an early age.

• Paper Recycling Campaign – “No Printing Day”
  As part of our sustainability initiatives, Mannai Energy launched a Paper Recycling Campaign, which included a “No Printing Day.” This dedicated day aimed to reduce paper consumption and encourage the use of digital alternatives, promoting responsible resource use and supporting our commitment to environmental sustainability.

This activity features a short documentary video created by members of the ICE Oryx Student Chapter, aiming to raise awareness on sustainability challenges and solutions relevant to Qatar. The student team highlights real-world perspectives through interviews, on-site footage, and practical recommendations to inspire responsible environmental behavior among youth and the wider community.

In recognition of World No Tobacco Day, FMM organized a Lung Cancer Awareness Campaign with the Qatar Cancer Society, promoting a healthy, smoke-free workplace and employee well-being supporting the national drive for a healthier Qatar.

As part of our commitment to sustainability and operational excellence, Elegancia Facilities Management (EFM), a subsidiary of Estithmar Holding, we organized multiple Energy Saving Awareness Sessions to educate our employees on the importance of responsible energy use. These sessions focused on practical ways to reduce consumption, aligning individual behaviors with the company’s broader sustainability goals.

FMM launched a Sustainability Photo Competition and the Environmental Champions Recognition Program, encouraging employee participation and celebrating contributions to sustainability across operations.

We will be rolling out our employee campaign on the first week of November to hear our people's intake on Sustainability.

يعبّر طلاب جامعة الدوحة للعلوم والتكنولوجيا عن رؤيتهم للاستدامة بأسلوب إبداعي يعكس وعيهم البيئي، حيث يختار كل طالب صورة تعبّر عن إحدى القضايا البيئية، ويترجمها إلى نص أدبي أو تأملي من اختياره. من خلال الشعر، أو القصة، أو المقال، أو التأمل الشخصي، يستكشف الطلاب علاقتهم بكوكب الأرض ويعبّرون عن مسؤوليتهم تجاه الحفاظ عليه للأجيال القادمة.

يخوض طلاب جامعة الدوحة للعلوم والتكنولوجيا تجربة تطبيقية لقياس الأثر الكربوني لكل فرد، عبر جمع بيانات واقعية وتحليلها باستخدام مهاراتهم الحسابية لتحديد تأثير أنماط حياتهم اليومية على البيئة. تسعى المبادرة إلى رفع مستوى الوعي البيئي لدى الطلاب، وتشجيعهم على تبنّي أساليب حياة أكثر استدامة، وتقديم حلول عملية تسهم في الحد من الانبعاثات الكربونية.
