تصميم نموذج تعهد من قبل فريق بلدية الوكرة وفريق الاستدامة في المجمع يتعهد فيه زوار مجمع مول أزدان ومدارس الوكرة بالحفاظ على البيئة وذلك بهدف تحويل الاستدامة إلى سلوك يومي لدى كافة فئات المجتمع .

This initiative enables the QFC to successfully focus on reducing water usage in order to become more environmentally conscious and water smart within the workplace. As such, rainwater is stored in reserved tanks for use in cleaning the parking area, minimum housekeeping consumables are prioritized, and hand dryers are installed in lavatories to encourage a reduction in tissue paper usage. Water aerator have also been introduced in washbasin faucet to help reduce the flow and wastage of water, and less water is used for cleaning cars and the building façade.

This environmentally friendly initiative enables the QFC to raise awareness of recycling best practices within its community. For example, a waste management initiative was developed to focus on increasing employee and visitor awareness through the introduction of office segregated bins for different types of waste, along with separate recycling cages for paper and cardboard waste.

A Qatar based initiative, Torba Farmers Market aims to be a leader in locally grown food and homemade products. Torba Market will open 17 November to the public

Our focus is to build a community where local growers and home businesses can trade organically grown food and naturally produced artisanal creations.

The Ginger Camel team is carpooling every day, we have 2 cars picking up the team every morning and take us back home every afternoon.

On the 1^st of November 2018, The Phoenix Private School will ‘go dark’.

For a period of one hour all electricity will be switched off and no electronic teaching resources will be used.

During this time the impact of electricity consumption on a global scale will be explained to the students.

Earth Hour is a symbol of Phoenix Private School’s commitment to our planet.
