Youth Fest 2025 – Youth Leadership Mentorship Program

As part of Qatar Sustainability Week 2025, Teen Hub launched the Youth Leadership Mentorship Program, a specialized track within Youth Fest designed to cultivate leadership, sustainability awareness, and management skills among emerging youth leaders.

The program paired 15 youth coordinators (aged 18–25) with professional mentors from Qatar Museums, Naufar, Qatar Sustainability Week team and key sustainability partners, enabling them to lead core areas of the festival — including Operations, Media, Volunteer Management, and Environmental Programs.

Program Structure:

• Leadership Onboarding Sessions: mentors guided youth leaders on sustainable event management, communication, and community engagement.
• Weekly Check-ins: mentors provided continuous feedback and evaluation on leadership performance.
• Applied Learning: youth leaders oversaw over 200 volunteers and coordinated QSW-registered events such as Composting Plz, Zero-Waste Kitchen, and Bottle to Art.
• Wellbeing & Purpose Workshops: conducted in collaboration with Naufar to support youth resilience and mental wellbeing during large-scale operations.
