Tree-planting campaign in cooperation with Qatar University
During the week, students will be encouraged to join carpool groups when commuting to and from school. The campaign educates students about the environmental benefits of shared transportation in lowering carbon footprints and motivating them to adopt eco-friendly travel habits.
Students will visit the QLA Greenhouses for an interactive lesson where they can learn about sustainable agriculture techniques. The workshop provides practical experience in planting, maintaining, and understanding sustainable food production, emphasizing the importance of eco-friendly agriculture.
Students from grades 7–10 will participate in planting flower beds across the QLA campus. This initiative aims to beautify the school environment while fostering a sense of environmental responsibility and encouraging hands-on involvement in sustainability efforts.
Doha Municipality will run a session at the Community College on :"Smart Sustainability". This will be open to all College students.

The planting site is near Al Ruwais, about a 1 hour 15 minute drive. Beyond the planting itself, the day will be focused on understanding the vital role of mangroves in capturing and storing CO₂ and raising awareness about their environmental importance.
Using a week of school initiatives and programmes to launch the Green Flag award programme in our school. This will involve auditing our schools sutainability, creating scultptures from recycled materials.
It will culminate in the selection of our eco-committee who will be driving sustainable changes in the school moving forward
