Carpooling Campaign

During the week, students will be encouraged to join carpool groups when commuting to and from school. The campaign educates students about the environmental benefits of shared transportation in lowering carbon footprints and motivating them to adopt eco-friendly travel habits.

Student Initiative: “No Plastic Bottle Day”

  • Students are encouraged to bring reusable water bottles only.
  • Posters and reminders are displayed around the campus to promote “Say No to Plastic.”
  • Teachers explain the impact of single-use plastics on the environment and connect it to Tourism sustainability and waste management in Qatar.
    Learning Outcome:
Students understand how small lifestyle changes reduce waste and support eco-tourism goals.

Planting Flowers

Students from grades 7–10 will participate in planting flower beds across the QLA campus. This initiative aims to beautify the school environment while fostering a sense of environmental responsibility and encouraging hands-on involvement in sustainability efforts.
