Initiative 1: Upcycling/ Recycling Activities
Internal Sustainable Practices (ISP) at AAB includes the upcycling and recycling of excess packaging materials. Composed of volunteers from across Business Units, the Green Team have been making functional products out of excess pallets and tyres such as outdoor furniture, shelving/ racks and storage units with the assistance of the members mostly from the Spare Parts Department.
talabat offices will be restricting the use of all plastic bottles from our offices and will introduce filtered water and reusable water glass bottles and mugs/cups for employees. We are also replacing plastic cutlery with wooden cutlery and encouraging employees to bring their own reusable metal cutleries from home. Plastic straws will also be replaced with metal ones. These initiatives and their importance will be communicated internally to all employees during QSW.
Mosanada FMS IT Team to develop Screensavers with Save Energy messages. This will be added to all MFMS systems.
Mosanada FMS staff can opt to estimate their Carbon Footprint using an online tool that would be shared with them. The Carbon Footprint obtained shall be entered in the database and recommendation to reduce the carbon footprint will be provided.
Sustainability Quiz contest to Mosanada FMS staff.
Sustainability Session delivered by Mosanada FMS Sustainability Team to school students between 10 to 16 years. The session will be delivered as an online and physical session depending on the requirement from the schools.

Paper, Cardboard & Plastic waste from all Mosanada FMS offices will be segregated and sent for recycling. This campaign aims at diverting waste from landfills and promotes resourcing of waste.
