Life Below Water Special initiatives done for community like beach cleaning, tree planting , health and nutrition etc.

Initiative 1: AAB Beach Clean Up Series 2022

The AAB Beach Clean Up Series for 2022 begins in collaboration with Doha Environmental Action Projects (DEAP) for their “Keep Qatar Clean” 300th Beach Clean Up. We play a significant role in the Keep Qatar Clean Project being DEAP’s mobility partner by providing a Toyota Hilux to enable transportation of the bags of collected polluted items from each location to a pick-up area for Baladiya. Our partnership with DEAP is in line with Sustainability Goal Development (SDG) 14—Life Below Water.

Affordable & Clean Energy

Transitioning the global economy towards clean and sustainable sources of energy is one of our greatest challenges in the coming decades. Sustainable energy is an opportunity – it transforms lives, economies, and the planet. We support one of the pillars of Qatar National Vision 2030 on the accessibility to clean energy with our hybrid vehicles.

Commitment Towards a Sustainable Office

talabat offices will be restricting the use of all plastic bottles from our offices and will introduce filtered water and reusable water glass bottles and mugs/cups for employees. We are also replacing plastic cutlery with wooden cutlery and encouraging employees to bring their own reusable metal cutleries from home. Plastic straws will also be replaced with metal ones. These initiatives and their importance will be communicated internally to all employees during QSW.
