Utilize lunch breaks to raise employees’ awareness of sustainability, explain how everyday workplace activities impact the environment, and encourage practical actions that support a more sustainable workplace.

As part of our commitment to responsible resource management, Lusail International Circuit is hosting targeted one-week e-waste collection drives strategically timed before and after our major international events. This initiative provides a secure, environmentally responsible disposal pathway for both operational facility waste and our staff members' personal electronics.

Sustainability is often discussed in terms of the planet, the environment and the things we consume. But there is another question worth asking:

The Sustainable Mind is an interactive workshop that creates space to step away from the busyness of everyday life and consider how we are actually living.

Together, we will explore our relationship with time, attention, consumption, mental clutter and the constant pressure to do, have and achieve more.

Plant It to Last is a QAS sustainability campaign that transforms planting into a meaningful learning and community experience. The initiative brings together students, families, teachers, and community partners to plant and care for trees and seedlings while developing environmental responsibility and an understanding of sustainable practices. Beyond planting, students take an active role in caring for and monitoring plant growth, connecting the experience to their learning, and encouraging sustainable habits at school and at home.

E-waste recycling is essential for protecting the environment and conserving valuable natural resources. Proper recycling of discarded electronic equipment helps prevent harmful materials from entering landfills, enables the recovery and reuse of valuable materials, and reduces the demand for new raw materials. Responsible e-waste management also promotes a circular economy and encourages individuals and organizations to adopt more sustainable consumption and disposal practices.

We are happy to contribute to the cause of sustainability through a small initiative undertaken at our Institute, wherein around 90-100 students of our 2nd year Bachelor programs of BBA, BCOM and B.Sc. are studying a course in sustainable food systems delivered and conducted by an industry expert, sustainability advocate and a passionate Qatari entrepreneur Mr. Ghanim Al Sulaiti.
