Live Well. Lead Well. brings together senior leaders, decision-makers and wellbeing professionals for an evening focused on leadership, sustainable performance and human connection.
As part of Qatar Sustainability Week, our students will be partnering with Feed a Friend to create a “Box of Kindness” by collecting food items for donation. Through this initiative, students will explore the importance of sharing resources, reducing food waste, and making sustainable food choices. They will also learn about community fridges and how small acts of kindness can help build a more caring and sustainable community.
ينظم مركز شباب الذخيرة، بالتعاون مع اللجنة الشبابية بنادي الخور الرياضي، وبالشراكة مع بلدية الخور والذخيرة، فعالية بيئية مدرسية لزراعة النباتات وتجميل محيط مدرسة عبدالله بن علي المسند الثانوية بنين، بمشاركة طلاب المدرسة، وذلك يوم الأربعاء الموافق 4 نوفمبر 2026، من الساعة الثامنة صباحاً حتى العاشرة صباحاً.
تتضمن الفعالية ورشة عمل توعوية حول أهمية الزراعة والاستدامة البيئية، إلى جانب تنفيذ ميداني لغرس النباتات وتجميل محيط المدرسة، بما يعزز الوعي البيئي لدى الطلاب ويرسّخ قيم المسؤولية المجتمعية والمشاركة الفاعلة في خدمة البيئة المدرسية.
ABS Qatar Office is proud to participate in Qatar Sustainability Week for the second consecutive year. Building on last year’s initiatives, we remain committed to making sustainability an active part of our workplace culture and daily operations.
Throughout the week, our team will reinforce practical actions that reduce our environmental footprint, including responsible use of energy and air-conditioning, switching off lights during lunch breaks, minimizing paper consumption through double-sided printing and using eco-friendly cleaning products where practical.
Students explored the importance of recycling and sustainability by transforming old or unused clothes and materials into creative fashion pieces. Through art and imagination, they gave discarded items a new life while learning how reusing materials can reduce waste and protect our environment.
As part of Qatar Sustainability Week, students will participate in a series of engaging activities focused on promoting a clean environment, planting, and healthy food choices.
Green FinTech Sustainability in Action is a dynamic, forward-looking discussion panel exploring how digital financial technologies are driving global environmental change.
This session brings together leading FinTech innovators, sustainable finance experts, and climate tech pioneers to analyze how data, blockchain, artificial intelligence, and automated platforms are scaling climate solutions.
Utilize lunch breaks to share short safety and health awareness videos/guidelines to improve employee awareness and engagement.
Recognize and promote the recently completed employee medical checkups as part of QSW, supported by health and wellness awareness sessions to encourage employees to maintain good health and adopt healthy practices.
Maintain air-conditioning temperature settings between 24°C and 26°C, in line with KAHRAMAA recommendations, to improve energy efficiency while maintaining employee comfort.
