Volunteers from LafargeHolcim Qatar workforce participates in Tree Planting being held in Readymix Qatar batching plants. Program is set and nice lunch afterwards. Volunteers are recognized with certificate of participation.

During this week, Galfar Al Misnad will conduct a campaign on safety, environment awareness sessions for its employees in all project sites.

Deserving staff are recognized on their own initiatives in promoting sustainability and for being an inspiration of transformative action in raising awareness of emerging environmental challenges. The awardee can be nominated by anyone and will be aawarded by a voucher and a recognition certificate.

فعالية (بيئتي مسؤوليتي ) التي تقام في مركز قطر الخيرية لتنمية المجتمع فرع الريان نساء وذلك يوم الأربعاء 30 أكتوبر 2019 م الساعة 9:30-11:30 صباحاً 

الفئة المستهدفة : الطلاب 4-6 سنوات (30 طالب و طالبة ) مع حضور الأمهات 

علماً بأن الفعالية تشتمل على ورشة توعوية + إعادة تدوير من مبادرة مستقبل أخضر (9:30 -10:30 )ص .

كما يصاحب الفعالية مشاركة بعض الامهات (أولياء أمور طلاب البراعم) في ورشة (الأم المبادرة ) لتقديم ورش إعادة تدوير ​(10:30-11:30 )ص 

We have organised for Porsche to deliver a presentation on the future of electric vehicles.

To encourage QNB office staff to reduce single use plastics we will be distributing a reusable water bottle and reusable tote bag throughout the week.

Qetaifan Projects LLC is fully aware of the fact that construction industry especially real estate sector currently is responsible for consumption of large quantity of resources and is also cause of generation of large quantity of waste.

5 Initiatives were done to support Qatar Sustainability Vision and Plans. The initiatives are:

·        Ban one time use of water bottles at work

·        All water fixtures are efficient aerators

·        Set the AC temperature to 22oC

·        Set printing allowance, double sided and nor printing for internal communications.
