Eco Friendly all purpose shopping bag launched by Qatari green ambassador and founder of Greener Future Qatar. Ms. Aisha Al Maadeed and ISL Qatar's head of research center Mrs. Cristina Pawel. The bespoke bags come in four 100% biodegradable fabrics i.e jute, canvas, cotton and juco.

QLA Herbal garden Inauguration 

QLA students have started working on creating a herbal/ medical garden from scratch. They are planning to have made boxes for plants using recycled wood. These boxes will be used to grow herbal plants.

Planting trees around the school 

Students and staff will be participating in greening the school campus by planting fruit trees and other plants. Eco school students led the activity. Every class will get at least one tree to plant in their name. The school director, principal, etc., will take part in this event. 

School-wide Environment Pledge Students pledge to take action for better health, wellbeing, economy, future, and the planet we live on. We register our pledge on Qatar green building council website.

 This activity occurred before the sustainability week begins, as the deadline for registering our pledge closed before the 23^rd of October. 

مسابقة ومجلة مواهب الاستدامة 2021، هي مسابقة وطنية على مستوى المدارس الشريكة لمنظمة علم لأجل قطر وتهدف الى إكتشاف وتنمية المواهب في مدارس دولة قطر، وإثراء الحياة التعليمية بمفاهيم وقيم الاستدامة المنبثقة من رؤية قطر 2030، وتعزيز التعاون والشراكة وتبادل الخبرات والمعرفة بين مدارس دولة قطر. سيشارك في المسابقة ما لا يقل عن 50 طالب وطالبة وسيتم إصدار مجلة مواهب الاستدامة إلكترونياً وتوزيع نسخة ورقية منها تحفظ في مكتبة المدارس المشاركة.

Recycling glass material to create art. Decoupage is the perfect craft to use old empty glass bottles, jars, plates and scraps of pretty papers to create a unique beautiful decorative art. This workshop will give awareness and encourage participants to upcycle found objects to create art. Also educating how to live a sustainable life by using eco friendly products/materials in out daily life for a healthy green environment for the future.
