Reduce Energy Consumption by increasing the 'set temperatures' to 23-degree Celsius (or more!) to echo a positive impact on society.

Upcycled Robots & Toys

This is an initiative created by the Digital Society Sector at the Ministry of Communications and Information Technology . In collaboration with Qatar Sustainability Week , this learning sessions related to sustainability , up cycling and how to create robots out of recycled materials provided by Elite Paper Recycling .

Dolphin Energy Office Waste Recycling Program

Dolphin Energy Qatar launched its full-scale office waste recycling program in 2009. The company installed collection points for the recycling program at the following locations: Dolphin Energy’s plant at Ras Laffan Industrial City and Al Khor offices and housing. Dolphin Energy recycling program includes collecting and recycling cardboard, paper, cans, plastic, E-waste, and batteries. The company uses different colored bins to collect its recyclable items.

Shoes for Dreams

DONATE YOUR PRE-LOVED SHOES! Let’s do something amazing for the Qatar community and give your shoes a new life!

Our ‘Shoes for Dreams’ campaign is all about donating your new or gently worn shoes to women (feet) in need. During Qatar’s Susan Week we want to provide and keep pursuing dreams. Together with you!

How does it work? We accept new or in good condition shoes-all styles and sizes. We pick them up from your location or yoi can drop them off at ours. We donate your shoes to women in need.

Trees Planting at Rawdat Rashid

In collaboration with the Ministry of Municipality, Al Awalia's team together with a team of voluteers shall plan around 400 trees at Al Awalia's Recycled aggregates plant at Rawdat Rashid.

Recycled aggregates itself is a sustainable product playing it's role towards bringing all goodness to the Environment. Trees planting at this plant shall bring bundles of benefits to it's air quality and Eco system apart from educating employees about sustainability.

up-cycled pallet workshop for kids

Sabira a pyrography and Woodsign lettering artist, Focus on creating sustainable art and decor by making Woodsigns using reclaimed wood to keep it out of the landfill.

The workshop will focus on using up-cycled pallet wood to create signs, and small toys in different shapes like animals and flowers for kids. Our workshop focus on to raise awareness of the importance of following environmentally friendly behaviors and their impact on life and sustainability, and to encourage society to adopt and use environmentally friendly and sustainable tools.

Fabric Upcycling Workshop

Textile Upcycling Workshop using fabric scraps in collaboration with Hadiqaa

Kids Workshop (age 5-10)

In this workshop, children will be encouraged to use their creativity to create art from scrap fabric. They will be guided to make a textile collage art piece, while also learning how waste fabric can be used in a creative and innovative way.
