مسابقة ومجلة مواهب الاستدامة 2021، هي مسابقة وطنية على مستوى المدارس الشريكة لمنظمة علم لأجل قطر وتهدف الى إكتشاف وتنمية المواهب في مدارس دولة قطر، وإثراء الحياة التعليمية بمفاهيم وقيم الاستدامة المنبثقة من رؤية قطر 2030، وتعزيز التعاون والشراكة وتبادل الخبرات والمعرفة بين مدارس دولة قطر. سيشارك في المسابقة ما لا يقل عن 50 طالب وطالبة وسيتم إصدار مجلة مواهب الاستدامة إلكترونياً وتوزيع نسخة ورقية منها تحفظ في مكتبة المدارس المشاركة.

قمت أنا وزملائي من مدارس أخرى مختلفة بالعمل على مقترح لمسابقة ومجلة الاستدامة والتي نود إنشائها بمناسبة أسبوع قطر للإستدامة لعام 2021 حيث ينطلق هذا العام في نسخته السادسة بين الفترة 23 الى 30 أكتوبر 2021 بتنظيم من مجلس قطر للمباني الخضراء أحد أعضاء مؤسسة قطر ويعتبر أسبوع قطر للاستدامة فرصة مثالية لمختلف الجهات والهيئات المهتمة بقطاع الاستدامة في دولة قطر لتقديم مبادراتها وتسليط الضوء على حلولها العملية والمبتكرة في مجال الاستدامة.

The environmental club at the American School of Doha, entitled the EFFECT club, would like to present the various initiatives our school has adopted in efforts to create sustainable and environmentally conscious development among our community. These initiatives include: stopping the sale of bottled water and promoting our "Go Refillable Campaign," starting a paper recycling that has reduced paper wastage on campus by 25%, initiating a compost program that has redirected over 30kg of food waste, and selling a cookbook with both vegetarian and environmentally friendly recipes!

For many public and private entities sustainability is an appealing idea and concept. The reality is that sustainability does not just sound good. Integration of sustainability concepts into the built environment provide long-term benefits for the community, beyond the project owner and occupiers. Internationally, highly sustainable building projects lower investment risk and improve occupants satisfaction that lead to overall economic and societal benefits.

يُنظِّمُ مركز "تربية" مسابقة جامعة في مجالات متنوعة بين أبنائنا الطلبة، يتسابق فيها الطلاب والطالبات في كافة المراحل الدراسية من الصف الرابع إلى الصف الثاني عشر، تحت اسم:

 "مسابقة تربية للإبداع"، تشتمل على ثمانية مجالات مهارية.

To exhibit the battery regeneration process and show how it can restore the battery lost capacity, which reduce the need for purchasing new battery and disposal of old battery. The technology and process have great impact on cost savings and green environmental.
