Wabi Sabi is an online platform to sell only upcycled products from waste materials like discarded plastic bags, bottles, used clothes, paper etc. It gives an opportunity to homemakers to showcase their talents and earn a living by selling the upcycled products. At the same time, the company helps in environment sustainability with its upcycling activities.
Nutrition is also playing an increasing role in defining sustainable food. At present there is a growing movement towards vegetarian and plant based food. The Dutch Embassy is encouraging the sustainable food option, which means eating the food that safe and healthy. It is produced without hazardous pesticides, chemical non essential antibiotics or growth promotion supplements.
The Embassy will have no plastic days on the 9th and 10th of October. There will be no plastic items at the office including bottles, cups and shopping bags. We will use our fabrics/ environment friendly shopping bags on the 9th and 10th of October.
