Sabira a pyrography and Woodsign lettering artist, Focus on creating sustainable art and decor by making Woodsigns using reclaimed wood to keep it out of the landfill.
The workshop will focus on using up-cycled pallet wood to create signs, and small toys in different shapes like animals and flowers for kids. Our workshop focus on to raise awareness of the importance of following environmentally friendly behaviors and their impact on life and sustainability, and to encourage society to adopt and use environmentally friendly and sustainable tools.
Textile Upcycling Workshop using fabric scraps in collaboration with Hadiqaa
Kids Workshop (age 5-10)
In this workshop, children will be encouraged to use their creativity to create art from scrap fabric. They will be guided to make a textile collage art piece, while also learning how waste fabric can be used in a creative and innovative way.

Razeena Abdurahman is an artist with a focus on creating sustainable art with fabric wastage generated by the local textile and fashion industry.

I would like to conduct workshop on upcycling a reclaimed wood , during QSW for kids and adults . Workshop will focus on up-cycling the pallet wood to create home decor pieces for adults . For kids, wood cut into small different shapes and let’s paint and make their own toy.
An activity in collaboration with Nest Nursery and Wahab to raise awareness about home composting, food waste, and green cleaning. Hosted at Nest Nursery with children and their parents.
