:قامت الوزارة بالعديد من المبادرات المتعلقة بالاستدامة والتي تم تطبيقها من خلال المساجد وهي

• ترشيد استهلاك الطاقة
• معالجة مياه الوضوء وإعادة استخدامها في ري المسطحات الخضراء المحيطة بالمساجد، وكذلك في صناديق الطرد بدورات المياه
• تشجير المساجد بالنباتات المحلية وتقنيات ري حديثة
• تطوير اشتراطات بناء صارمة لضمان تحقيق أعلى معايير الاستدامة في تصميم وإنشاء وصيانة

ينظم مركز شباب الذخيرة، بالتعاون مع اللجنة الشبابية بنادي الخور الرياضي، وبالشراكة مع بلدية الخور والذخيرة، فعالية بيئية مجتمعية لتشجير وزراعة النباتات بحديقة الخور العامة، بمشاركة منتسبي مركز شباب الذخيرة ومنتسبي اللجنة الشبابية بنادي الخور الرياضي، وذلك يوم الثلاثاء الموافق 3 نوفمبر 2026، من الساعة الرابعة عصراً حتى السادسة مساءً.

ينظم مركز شباب الذخيرة، بالتعاون مع اللجنة الشبابية بنادي الخور الرياضي ومدرسة سميسمة الثانوية بنين، وبالشراكة مع بلدية الخور والذخيرة، فعالية بيئية مجتمعية لتشجير محيط "مجلس الحسن" بمنطقة الذخيرة، وذلك يوم الاثنين الموافق 2 نوفمبر 2026، من الساعة الثامنة صباحاً حتى العاشرة صباحاً.

تتضمن الفعالية ورشة عمل توعوية حول أهمية الزراعة والاستدامة البيئية، إلى جانب تدريب عملي لطلاب المدرسة على أساليب زراعة الأشجار والنباتات، بما يعزز الوعي البيئي لدى فئة الشباب ويرسّخ قيم المسؤولية المجتمعية والمشاركة الفاعلة في خدمة البيئة المحلية.

The Municipality of Al Daayen and IKEA Qatar will hold a  collaborative initiative during Sustainability Week 2026 to promote Henna (Lawsonia inermis) — one of the Arabian Peninsula's most resilient and culturally significant plants and a species already naturalised across Doha's urban landscape. The Wakra Beach Cleaning Activity is a community-driven environmental initiative aimed at promoting cleanliness, protecting marine ecosystems, and raising awareness about responsible waste management. Volunteers come together to remove litter and plastic waste from the beach, contributing to a cleaner and healthier coastal environment.

As part of Qatar Sustainability Week 2026, the QF Alumni Office is hosting From Awareness to Action: Mobilizing Communities for a Sustainable Qatar, a QF Alumni Talk featuring Jose Daniel Saucedo Martinez, QF alumnus from HEC Paris, Doha, and founder of DEAP Qatar Conservation.

Drawing on his experience in environmental conservation, volunteering, sustainability awareness, and community engagement, Jose will explore how awareness can be translated into meaningful action and how individuals and communities can play an active role in advancing sustainability in Qatar.

Every interaction with a customer, colleague or member of the community creates an opportunity to make a positive and lasting difference. As organisations increasingly focus on sustainability, customer experience must also evolve to reflect greater responsibility, awareness and long-term value.

This engaging workshop explores the connection between customer excellence and sustainability. Participants will examine how exceptional service, empathy and responsible decision-making can create meaningful experiences while contributing to a more sustainable future.

Sustainability is not achieved through policies and strategies alone. Real change happens when people understand, believe in and actively support a shared vision.

This interactive workshop explores the critical role of communication, influence and leadership in driving sustainable change. Participants will discover how to communicate ideas in a way that inspires action, overcome resistance to change and influence others without relying solely on authority.
