The Well-Being Advantage: Leading with Sustainable Excellence Through Uncertainty

This session, delivered to the S-Academy community, explores the vital connection between personal well-being and effective, sustainable leadership. It guides participants in developing resilience, balance, and purpose to navigate challenges with confidence. The workshop emphasises how caring for one’s well-being enhances clarity, creativity, and long-term impact in leadership roles.

QKONS X EC tram integration

The QKONS Education City Tram Integration is a sustainability initiative led by QKONS in collaboration with Green Island and supported by the City Operations team at Qatar Foundation. The initiative aims to promote the use of the Education City Tram as a low-carbon, sustainable transportation option for students, staff, and visitors. Through this collaboration, NFC-enabled tags are installed inside trams, allowing users to tap and record their rides within the QKONS app, earning sustainability points and tracking their contribution to carbon reduction.

QUORIDOR GAME

Designed by a Grade 6 student, Mohammad Al Mohannadi,  Quoridor is an engaging two-player strategy game that combines fun, logic, and environmental awareness. Players compete to move their pawn across a 9×9 grid while placing wooden fences to slow down their opponent — but without blocking their path completely. The game challenges players to think critically, plan ahead, and respect fairness, reflecting the balance between competition and cooperation that underpins sustainable living.

From Kitchen Waste to Garden Gold: A Wa’hab Workshop on Home Composting

Join us for a hands-on community composting workshop — open to anyone who wants to reduce waste and make a real impact! Learn how to turn your everyday food scraps into nutrient-rich compost, instead of sending them to landfills.

Through this session, you’ll discover how composting returns nutrients back to the soil, creating healthier, more fertile ground and stronger plants that naturally resist pests — unlike those grown with chemical fertilizers.
