التعليم والأخلاق والقيم‌، هدف هذا البرنامج إلى تعزيز القيم المشتركة حول الاستدامة والبيئة بين المجتمعات لتقوية العلاقة بين الإنسان والطبيعة. ويسهم البرنامج من خلال تعزيز الوعي والثقافة البيئية في دعم النمو الشخصي والمسؤولية الاجتماعية والمواطنة العالمية التي تستند جميعها إلى مبادئ الاستدامة المستلهمة من القيم الدينية.
وسيتضمن الفعالية ورشة للمدرب عبدالله الكوهجي مشرف عام الانشطة بمركز شباب الكعبان

هو برنامج تبادل شبابي تستقبل فيه بيوت الشباب القطرية هذه المرة من الجمعية التونسية لمضائف وسياحة الشباب للترويج للسياحة بقطر. وتمتد فترة الاقامة لمدة 6 ايام وخلال هذه الزيارة وتزامنا مع اسبوع قطر للاستدامة ستتم زيارة الجزيرة البنفسجية مع الوفد والمتطوعين والمشاركة في تنظيفها وغراسة اشجار المنغروف.

ورشات تعريفية :

الورشات التعريفية عن التنمية المستدامة في الوطن العربي عموماً ودولة قطر خصوصاً هي جلسات تعليمية تهدف إلى زيادة الوعي والفهم حول أهمية تحقيق أهداف التنمية المستدامة (SDGs) التي وضعتها الأمم المتحدة. تسلط هذه الورشات الضوء على الاستدامة البيئية، التنوع الاقتصادي، والعدالة الاجتماعية، مع التركيز على التحديات الخاصة بالمنطقة العربية وقطر.

This seminar and included workshop will initiate a dicussion related to new urban design approaches to transform streets and open spaces in Qatari cities into sustainable, vibrant and inclusive positive elements of Qatar sustainable urbanity. 

The decarbonization race is heating up in the region. Many countries within the GCC region announced commitments and pledges related to decarbonization (such as Net Zero pledges), and hence governments in the region are aiming to accelerate decarbonizations efforts under the pressure of fulfilling the requirements of these pledges and the rising concerns related to the catastrophic consequences of climate change. This is also placing a lot of pressure on corporates to react, except that efforts are often hindered with various roadblocks.

Environmental, Social and Governance (ESG) is a space that can enhance cross-sectoral collaboration to tackle urgent social and environmental challenges. As ESG strategies are fully implemented, the public and private sectors serve to benefit from a deepening commitment to sustainability through opportunities to capitalize on ESG opportunities and an acceleration of the region’s net-zero goals. In addition, ESG is a key driver for access to a host of green financing products, and maintains the annual stringent requirements from the financial service provider.

As part of Qatar Sustainability Week, Earthna Center for a Sustainable Future, in collaboration with GHD, invites you to join us in exploring innovative approaches to water management through the development of a circular water economy. Earthna is leading efforts to reshape how we manage water in Qatar, focusing on sustainability and resource efficiency.

Energy systems models are increasingly used by governments of both developed and developing countries to generate crucial evidence underpinning their climate change policy. Different types of energy systems models exist that can be used in isolation or jointly and can support informed discussions around key policy decisions. Funded by QNRF (grant NPRP13S-0204-200250) and in partnership with Imperial College London, Kahramaa and Earthna, QEERI is developing Qatar TIMES, the country’s first full energy systems model.
