During Qatar Sustainability Week 2020, Qatar Academy Primary Students will be planting trees and seasonal flowers to enhance school grounds, improve air quality and extend learning engagements that equip us as future change agents for a sustainable world. We continue to strive to become a Green Flag Eco-School by participating in the Global Climate Action Project, Jane Goodall's #plantED initiative and Qatar Sustainability Week.
QLA Peace Garden
Students and staff will be planting around 40 trees in preparation of creating QLA peace garden. We will be creating this garden in our compound. We will try to incorporate the school next door in our project.
Al Khor Beach clean up
Grade 7 and/or 8 students participated in a beach clean-up with social distancing and other precautionary measures in place.
Eco school students will lead the activity. Students with teachers visited the mangroves in Al Khor and clean up the beach to remove the plastic waste.
Planting trees around the school
Students and staff will be participating in greening the school campus by planting fruit trees and other plants. Eco school students led the activity. Every class will get at least one tree to plant in their name. The school director, principal, etc., will take part in this event.

تصميم يوم للبيئة الخضراء بعدم استعمال العبوات البلاستيكية واعادك استخدام القديم منها لزرع اشجار خضراء لتصبح مديتنا خضراء وصحية قامت المعلمة باعلان المسابقة للطلاب على برنامج تميز حيث يقوم الطلاب باستخدام العبوات البلاستيكية القديمة للاستفادة منها اعادة تدوير لزراعة اشجار
مبادرة من طلاب الصف الثالث بمساعدة معلمة الرياضيات لمحافظة على البيئة حيث تم اطلاق شعار المبادرة (غرشة مياه صديقة للبيئة )تم نشر اعلان على مايكروسوفت تيمز الخاص بالمدرسة للتعريف الهئية التدرسية والادارية بالمبادرة وكذلك عمل منشورات توعية بأضرار الزجاجات البلاستيكية علي البيئة

مسابقة ومجلة مواهب الاستدامة 2021، هي مسابقة وطنية على مستوى المدارس الشريكة لمنظمة علم لأجل قطر وتهدف الى إكتشاف وتنمية المواهب في مدارس دولة قطر، وإثراء الحياة التعليمية بمفاهيم وقيم الاستدامة المنبثقة من رؤية قطر 2030، وتعزيز التعاون والشراكة وتبادل الخبرات والمعرفة بين مدارس دولة قطر. سيشارك في المسابقة ما لا يقل عن 50 طالب وطالبة وسيتم إصدار مجلة مواهب الاستدامة إلكترونياً وتوزيع نسخة ورقية منها تحفظ في مكتبة المدارس المشاركة.
