The aim from these activities:

celebrate the Qatar Sustainability Week to support Primary school in the future to apply for Green Flag.

Activating the role of parental participation in their children's learning.

Raising awareness of the concept of sustainability Students interacted with parents in various activities to achieve the concept of sustainability.

Building community partnerships with various parties to achieve Qatar’s vision 2023.

The Program:

Primary and Secondary school Organizing a morning assembly.

To raise awareness and promote sustainability, our young learners will engage in a comprehensive week of learning activities. Reduction of Paper Wastage and Reusing the Junk: We will talk about the reduction of paper usage and students from all classes will use their creativity to prepare the craft by reusing junk papers. Our Mini Green Garden: Students will delve into the art of planting and nature exploration. They will sow seeds and cultivate a petite garden in the school's outdoor space, contributing to the promotion of sustainability.

Promoting two days (minimum) of students bringing in Litter-less Lunches and three mornings for students to bring in unwanted books to exchange for different books. Both incentives promoting sustainability in an Eco-friendly environment.

الهدف من المسابقة تحفيز الشغف بالعلوم والتكنولوجيا والبحث بين الناشئين. • جذب اهتمام الطلاب للأنشطة القائمة على العلوم والتكنولوجيا والهندسة والرياضيات واختبار إبداعهم من خلال دمج تفكيرهم النقدي بمهاراتهم التكنولوجية. • مساعدة الطلاب الصغار على ممارسة وتطوير العديد من المهارات المتعلقة بالبحث العلمي، التواصل مع الآخرين ,اتخاذ القرار وتصميم الفيديوهات، جنبا إلى جنب مع تعزيز مفهوم الاستدامة. • رفع مستوى الوعي بالاستدامة وتحدي إمكانيات الطلاب لدفعهم للبحث عن طرق جديدة تساعد في دعم رؤية قطر 2030 من أجل تحويل قطر إلى دولة متقدمة قادرة على تحقيق التنمية المستدامة. .

تحقيقاً لرؤية وزارة التربية والتعليم في توفير فرص تعلم دائمة ومبتكرة ذات جودة ولتفعيل محور المدارس الخضراء ضمن خطة اليونسكو ومبادرة معاً لمستقبل مستدام وتحقيق أهداف التنمية المستدامة والتوعية والتثقيف بها تم إدراج موضوع درس للتعبير بالرسم عن محمية الريم للمستوى الرابع للتعرف على الحيوانات والنباتات التي تحتويها مثل المها والريم وعلى الطبيعة الساحرة للسياحة فيها و للتثقيف والتوعية بأهمية المحميات وخاصة محمية الريم تم تصنيفها من قبل اليونسكو على أنها «محمية محيط حيوي» الهدف العام من محمية المحيط الحيوي في الريم هي: "حماية النظم البيئية الرئيسية والقيم الثقافية المصاحبة والمحافظة عليها، والمحا

Our school will unite to create a week's worth of activities including:

-biodiversity gardening -creating furniture and fashion from recycled products

- a campaign to educate the public about sea turtles (multiple languages)

-love letters to Planet Earth (multiple languages)

-sustainable food production and permaculture -composting

Host a tree-planting event in a local park or school grounds to raise awareness about the importance of trees in carbon sequestration and ecosystem health.

Organize a fashion show featuring clothing made from sustainable and upcycled materials. Promote eco-friendly fashion choices and alternatives to fast fashion.

- Highlighting the importance of avoiding one time use plastic and the importance of reduce, reuse and recycle to students. - Donate used books to relevant charity organizations.

- Staff to receive a plant each. Promoting the concept of take a plant home and care for the plant. - Planting across the school using recycled materials. (Tyres/ Pipes)
