Mall of Qatar joins Qatar Sustainability Week 2022 efforts by offering visitors to the Mall tote bags at the customer service desks throughout the week from 8 till 15 October.

It is ZERO WATE FOOD with collect the leftover food / extra food and prepare it to give it to one of the charities that collect the leftover food and submitted to people who need it / orphanage home.

During the event, we will offer paper bags instead of plastic bags in fruit and vegetable sections. This will not only bring awareness among the consumers but have a huge impact on avoiding single use plastic bags.

We rolled out invitation to our employees to satiate their inner superhero within by making a blood donation that will make a difference.

We are doing a whole school charity collection for unwanted clothes. This initiative will allow those unfortunate to receive items of clothing from families throughout our school.

Souq Al Wakra hotel focuses on sustainability by conversion of used cooking oil to biofuel in partnership with GBO.

We're teaming up with Treekly who provides an app for counting steps and each 5000 steps allow to grow one tree and contribute to the local community in terms of getting jobs. We have 2500 employees and each person will connect to the app (including family members, friends). In Qatar a group of our employees will join together to walk around Aspire park to clock 5000 steps each. We'll send you some pics.
