Eco Dome

This project is a student-led recycling and greening project that diverts single-use plastic bottles from waste streams and repurposes them into a functional greenhouse. Aligned with the environmental pillar of Qatar’s national agenda and the spirit of Qatar Sustainability Week, the project turns abstract sustainability goals into tangible action on campus. Students will collect, sort, and engineer with reclaimed materials; apply scientific enquiry (microclimate, plant growth, humidity/temperature), and practice safe construction methods while collaborating across year groups.

Qatar Foundation - Clean Plate Campaign

Month-long Clean Plate Campaign across QF cafeterias, culminating during Qatar Sustainability Week (QSW, Earthna). Cut visible plate waste, nudge lasting habits, and showcase Education City's leadership on sustainability. Building on the resounding success of City Operations' "Plate Waste" measuring initiative, which ignited significant behavioral shifts, this campaign propels us forward! We're not just measuring anymore; we're actively progressing towards eliminating plate waste entirely, setting a new benchmark for sustainable practices.

HOUSEKEEPING DRIVE

A comprehensive housekeeping drive will be conducted across the office and factory premises, involving all staff members to uphold high standards of hygiene. This initiative supports our commitment to fostering sustainable environmental practices.
