Actively participating with the segregation and sorting of paper and cardboard waste within our operations and sending them to approved recycling partners like Elite waste recycling and Al suwaidi paper factory.  

Dedicated drop-off zone for E-waste setup on selected locations proving customers with a convenient way to dispose of electronic waste responsibly. 

To encourage our customers towards ecofriendly shopping Lulu Hypermarket is organizing a Buy1 Get 1 Free promotion on reusable shopping bags. This promotion aims to motivate more customers to adopt reusable alternatives and reduce dependency on single use plastics.

Towards our continuous efforts to reduce paper consumption and support environmental preservation, Lulu Hypermarket is actively promoting e-bill across all stores. Customers are encouraged to opt for digital receipts instead of printed ones.

Lulu has installed 17 Reverse Vending Machines across its stores for used plastic bottle and aluminum can collection. These machines promote recycling by allowing customer to easily deposit used bottles and cans, which are send to approved recycling partners.

The ECO Committee at DESS are collecting donations of used school items and uniform for a sale in school supporting sustainable practices of reducing waste and giving schools items a second life, while helping other families in our school community.

An office-wide initiative to promote responsible waste management through dedicated segregation bins for paper, plastic, aluminum, and general waste. The program includes awareness sessions, educational posters, and a month-long friendly inter-office “eco-battle” competition to encourage staff to adopt proper recycling habits and reduce overall waste generation.
