Sabira a pyrography and Woodsign lettering artist, Focus on creating sustainable art and decor by making Woodsigns using reclaimed wood to keep it out of the landfill.

The workshop will focus on using up-cycled pallet wood to create signs, and small toys in different shapes like animals and flowers for kids. Our workshop focus on to raise awareness of the importance of following environmentally friendly behaviors and their impact on life and sustainability, and to encourage society to adopt and use environmentally friendly and sustainable tools.

Textile Upcycling Workshop using fabric scraps in collaboration with Hadiqaa

Kids Workshop (age 5-10)

In this workshop, children will be encouraged to use their creativity to create art from scrap fabric. They will be guided to make a textile collage art piece, while also learning how waste fabric can be used in a creative and innovative way.

Razeena Abdurahman is an artist with a focus on creating sustainable art with fabric wastage generated by the local textile and fashion industry.

Join us and experience something amazing as we are attempting to break the Guinness World Record Title for the Largest Plastic Bottle Word.

We are doing this to raise awareness about recycling of PET bottles and plastics.

Our event will be for our staff to talk and interact about their knowledge in sustainability. The main objective and purpose is to educate the whole team to work together and save our environment. To motivate and encourage them to use the sustainability approach and implementation in the Hotel, through the sustainable environment and resource conservation with main goal to minimize the negative environmental impacts and reduce operating costs while conserving the natural resources to the minimal consumption and usage. Main target is to reduce the use of energy and eliminate waste.

To achieve Qatar National Vision 2030, PHCC is actively working on Green, and Sustainable building, and demand-controlled ventilation programs. These programs in PHCC will driving the trend towards sustainable buildings in health care industry. Primary Health Care corporation (PHCC) is focusing to improve building energy efficiency, including goals of sustainability and net-zero energy use, which simultaneously achieve energy efficiency and good indoor air quality (IAQ). 

A strong sustainability culture exists if people share a belief in sustainability’s importance and behave in ways that support it.PHCC is ensures commitment to environmental sustainability and believe that such cultural should start with new generations.

PHCC participated in national activities to enhance children to re-use and recycle waste through CARNIVAL TARSHEED.

A collaboration with Wahab, Environ.qa and The Nest Nursery to promote awareness and demonstrate composting using food waste, sustainable cleaning products and environmental solutions in a children's nursery environment.

Recycling program was first introduced to PHCC late of 2019 to support sustainable waste management. Wastes are segregated into three (3) types: recyclable materials, food waste and paper waste. 3 in 1 recycling bins are widely used in health centers and main offices. We are fully committed to improving environmental performance, and we encourage everyone to join us in this effort for a brighter future of younger generation.
