Dolphin Energy Qatar launched its full-scale office waste recycling program in 2009. The company installed collection points for the recycling program at the following locations: Dolphin Energy’s plant at Ras Laffan Industrial City and Al Khor offices and housing. Dolphin Energy recycling program includes collecting and recycling cardboard, paper, cans, plastic, E-waste, and batteries. The company uses different colored bins to collect its recyclable items.
In collaboration with the Ministry of Municipality, Al Awalia's team together with a team of voluteers shall plan around 400 trees at Al Awalia's Recycled aggregates plant at Rawdat Rashid.
Recycled aggregates itself is a sustainable product playing it's role towards bringing all goodness to the Environment. Trees planting at this plant shall bring bundles of benefits to it's air quality and Eco system apart from educating employees about sustainability.

To mark the Sustainability week, an awareness activity is planned where Al Awalia will initiate waste segregation methodology across it's work locations.
Segregation bins shall be placed across 5 locations and workers will participate to understand and start utilising waste segregation.
