Doha Oasis Quest provided reusable water bottles to all of its employees so that they could refill the water for drinking rather than using single-use plastic bottles.

During the month of October , ISL Q will be organizing our second Sustainability Month. This event will be mainly coordinated by students as part of their IB Service as Action and CAS programmes. We will be planning workshop, debates , and many other activities on the topic of Sustainability.

A candle making workshop using our old candles and recycling them to be a new candle. Using Eco friendly soy wax and wooden wick.

We are the only company with ISCC certification for the collection of used cooking oil, which recycles the same into Sustainable Biodiesel in Qatar.

Gardening has many physical and psychological benefits that people in the Gulf don't have access to. Lack of space or time, harsh climate and infertile soil are some of the limitations that discourage many people from starting their own green space.

As more and more people are engaging in technology and the Metaverse becomes more popular, creating an educational virtual game could have a wide audience. It has been found that gamification increases engagement, so this audience would have more possibilities to take up gardening in real life.

Lunch n Learn - Lucky Star Alloys will continue Lunch n Learn programs where employees explore eating healthy lunch options and together as a group utilizing lunch time to gain more knowledge on different topics related to being sustainable.  

Cancer Awareness Session -Lucky Star Alloys will conduct BLOOD cancer session for their employees during this week to create better health check awareness towards this disease
