Greener future in collaboration with Qatar Charity / Al Rayyan branch will run an awareness workshop on living a sustainable lifestyle.

In collaboration with Qatar Cancer Society, we would like to invite everyone to participate for a Corporate Social Responsibility – Breast Cancer Walk – this year’s theme “ BLOSSOM”.

Reuse Plastics to create art to raise awareness and tell a story about the Plastics Danger on Environment and Living species!

About this Event

Bring along your idea in a detailed sketch showing how you plan to implement your art. Be ready to present your idea

The idea is to use these art works to tell a story about the effect of plastic on this species. The artwork itself will be a collection vessel for recyclable plastic.

Upcycling also known as creative reuse, is the process of transforming by-products,

waste materials, useless, or unwanted products into new materials or products of better quality and environmental value.

Concept: Creative reuse of pallet woods. Making handmade coasters and painting them for home and office daily use.

As part of Sustainability Week and as an attempt to increase awareness regarding Sustainability and the Environment, QF Community Development and Qatar Green Building Council have organized an awareness session in the form of a free lunch and learning activities. The students were informed on how to make their campus Eco Friendly, ways of involvement, solutions 101, and many more interactive activities.

In collaboration with Ministry of Municipality and Environment, RMQ participates in Beach Clean Up on a yearly basis, collects large quantity of waste and helps Qatar surroundings clean and environment friendly.   

Volunteers from LafargeHolcim Qatar workforce participates in Tree Planting being held in Readymix Qatar batching plants. Program is set and nice lunch afterwards. Volunteers are recognized with certificate of participation.

During this week, Galfar Al Misnad will conduct a campaign on safety, environment awareness sessions for its employees in all project sites.
