Altaawon Factory for Wood Recycling is a Qatar-based recycling and manufacturing company dedicated to collecting scrap wood locally from businesses, industries, and other sources across Qatar. We specialize in processing and converting waste wood and wood residues into valuable, reusable products, contributing to a cleaner environment and a more sustainable future.Our main products include Sawdust Charcoal, Wood Shavings, and Wood Briquettes.
During Waste Trace initiative, ACCIONA head office will collect and measure their waste by weight, then scan and record their results using the Waste Trace system. Offices will compete to reduce their waste while improving awareness of how much waste is generated through everyday office activities.
As part of our sustainability program for Qatar Sustainability Week, a group of our employees from InterContinental Doha Beach & Spa will join Earthna for a mangrove conservation visit. During the activity, we will plant new mangrove seedlings and clear seaweed from the existing mangroves to help these vital coastal ecosystems grow and thrive. Mangroves play an important role in protecting Qatar’s coastline, absorbing carbon and providing a natural habitat for marine life and birds.
As part of our sustainability program for Qatar Sustainability Week, a group of our employees from InterContinental Doha Beach & Spa will visit Modern Central Laundry (MCL), where we will take a guided tour of their facility and learn how they operate and how they give used linen a second life by transforming it into new, usable items.

Our tour begins with a visit to SkyDrop, where our colleagues will attend an awareness session on the innovative technology that transforms air into clean, drinkable water, a practical solution to water scarcity in our region.

الأهداف:
Our Stage 2 learners (2D and 2E-MOE Grades 3 and 4) will participate in the DEAP Qatar Beach Clean Up.
They will help in the cleanup of the Al Thakira Mangroves beach on Wednesday November 4.
A Qatar Sustainability Week beach clean-up organised by ACCIONA and HBKU’s Urban Water Management Lab. The activity builds on ACCIONA and HBKU-CSE’s collaboration in teaching and local capacity building in desalination and water supply. Participants will take part in practical coastal stewardship and learn about the effects of litter on coastal environments and water quality.
