As part of Qatar Sustainability Week 2026, Milaha will host a three-day programme from 1–3 November 2026, bringing together employees, business leaders and invited sustainability experts to explore how sustainability commitments can translate into practical actions and measurable business outcomes.

The programme will feature sustainability initiatives across Milaha's operations, including maritime decarbonisation, hybrid vessels, energy efficiency, sustainable procurement, innovative offshore operations and responsible business practices.

This initiative reflects Qatar Chamber’s ongoing commitment to promoting sustainability and environmental responsibility, fostering a culture of sustainable practices within the business community, and encouraging private-sector institutions to adopt initiatives that contribute to environmental protection, the preservation of natural resources, and the advancement of sustainable development.

A range of student-led initiatives and interactive activities promoting environmental awareness and sustainable practices. Activities include EcoCup competitions, an SDG-themed Jeopardy, grade- and house-based gardening, recycling and composting initiatives, an environmental mural, advisory and homeroom activities, student speeches on SDGs 6, 12, 13, 14 and 15, and an article in the SISQ Post. These initiatives aim to encourage students to take meaningful environmental action and foster a lasting culture of sustainability across the school community.
