Our team will repot indoor plants and revitalize the greenhouse to create a thriving green hub that supports plant growth and wellbeing.

🍽️ Zero-Food Waste Initiative
We aim to minimize food waste through responsible portioning, composting, and donation of surplus food to ensure resources are used sustainably.

♻️ Plastic Waste Audit
A detailed audit will be conducted to measure and identify plastic waste sources, helping us reduce single-use plastics and improve recycling efforts.

Awareness and Engagement Activities: Fun and interactive sessions such as recycling drives, donation programs, eco-talks, and workshops that encourage daily sustainable habits.

 In celebration of Sustainability Week 2025, we unite under the theme “Together for a Sustainable Future” — a shared commitment to protect and nurture our environment.

Throughout the week, our family members and guests will take part in meaningful and hands-on activities designed to inspire action and awareness. 

Mini Sustainability Forum: An open space to share ideas, discuss green practices, and showcase each department’s sustainability initiatives.

• 31 Oct: QM Arab Youth Forum at Green Island
• Green Island will host 70 young participants from the forum to showcase Qatar’s sustainable journey

BeIN joins the Green Island collaboration network and becomes the 1st TV channel to train their teams on eco-habits. 

Show & Tell by Hirfa is a community event that showcases handcrafted products made by individuals with special needs under Hirfa – an initiative by Step by Step. The event highlights sustainability through the use of eco-friendly materials, upcycled products, and locally crafted items such as jute placemats, decoupage coasters, and resin art.
