With more cities facing an uncertain future due to climate change, there is an increasing focus on climate adaptation for infrastructure, and social and economic reinforcement.
City resilience is a more pressing priority in hot and arid climates such as Qatar, where the capacity of individuals, communities, and systems to adapt, survive, and grow in the face of stress and shocks is of paramount importance.
We are addressing these challenges by taking a holistic approach to data assessment, delivering pilot projects across the built environment, advocating for action, and developing methods to enhance ecological functions and services.
