Collaborating with Georgetown University Sustainability Week.

Theme will be: Sustainable Waste Management and Recycling.

DivaLounge Spa will launch a campaign on our social media pages in the form Instagram Reels and Stories. The content will feature our sustainability practices as a spa where we educate the viewers on the reasons behind our practices and encourage others to take more of an initiative in taking the eco-friendlier route such as opting for a "waterless" manicure and pedicure, using biodegradable and reusable items in our services, etc. Our director will address why it is important for our brand to be sustainable and what future actions we will take to ensure that we uphold our values.

Replate leverages technologies to rescue surplus food from businesses, redistributing it to communities in need while reducing food waste and its environmental impact. 

Purpose: To combat food waste and food insecurity through innovative technology.

Vision: A world where no food goes to waste and every community has access to nutritious food.

This year’s Qatar Sustainability Week 2024, Nehmeh is proud to launch its theme "Act now for a greener tomorrow." These initiatives will run from Saturday, 28th September, 2024 to Thursday, 3rd October, 2024. During this week, we will have various activities that aim at contributing to Qatar Sustainability’s objectives in many simple ways.

Title: Conserve 2 Preserve: Activities Promoting Sustainability In a world increasingly challenged by environmental concerns, the imperative to conserve and preserve our resources is more critical than ever. DPS-Modern Indian School always takes an initiative to conduct impactful activities that promote sustainability. Our school is contributing a lot to the protection of the environment in small ways.

Sustainable living has become an integral part of modern living as the world grapples with environmental challenges. The purpose of sustainability practices in gardening is to minimize environmental impact and promote harmony with nature by using eco-friendly methods and resources. One simple yet effective approach to sustainable gardening is the repurposing of everyday items, transforming discarded materials into valuable resources for plant growth.

عرض مشاريع ووسائل منهجية من صنع التلاميذ تحقق الاستدامة .

-إعادة تدوير الأشياء المستخدمة وتحويلها إلى أشياء جديدة مفيدة لتحقيق الاستدامة البيئية .

- تدريب التلاميذ على اعتمادهم على نفسهم في صنع وسيلة مفيدة .

- تم صنع كل تلميذة لوسيلة "جهاز كهربائي" صف ثاني و "سيارة متحركة هوائيا " صف أول وذلك بمساعدة ولية الأمر ( نشاط لاصفي ) وفقا لمتطلبات تحقيق التنمية المستدامة .

- إعادة استخدام ( ورق كتب قديمة – بلاستيك – كرتون – معدن – خشب ..)

- تصميم معرض بعنوان "وسيلتي من صنع يدي" لعرض أعمال التلاميذ.

سيتم الإعلان عن فعاليات أسبوع الاستدامة في إذاعة هولا الإسبانية ضمن خطة البرامج المباشرة والمسجلة لتغطية كافة الفعاليات الخاصة بالاستدامة في مختلف أرجاء الدولة
