During this k-12 community event the school Eco-Council will be visibly present and collecting all plastic bottles and one-time use vendor plastic containers in a designated area.  As the plastics pile up the images will kick start conversations about waste and the impact of our plastic footprint. PHd students from Hamid Bin Khalifa University will be collaborating and spreading word about “Life-Cycle Thinking” and the the Qatar Foundation newsroom will also be on hand to capture our eco stories.

During this event we will be doing a beach cleanup in the Qatari Heritage Village of Al Ghariyah together with the Hilton Hotels in Qatar.

This event is not open to the public.

Our event will be for our staff to talk about how to be an eco friendly cafe.

The purpose is to educate the whole team to work together and save our environment. 

The speaker will be Aisha Al-Maadeed from Greener. 

BMW Hybrid car campaign with Ginger camel to highlight Alfardan’s initiative for sustainability by providing electric car charging stations in various Alfardan and partner properties in cooperation with Siemens and Kahrama. 

Alfardan group started the initiative to recycle used paper in the different AlFardan Group subsidiaries. Therefore, an MOU was signed with Elite paper Recycling to provide bins and collection of the paper.

Alfardan Group’s offices will start to adopt a new sustainability standard in day to day operations throughout the week. This standard will then be rolled out across all of our properties and businesses as part of a long term sustainability policy adopt by Alfardan on the group level. We will be highlighting

Our sustainability event this year is “REDUCE – REUSE - RECYCLE”. It is about reducing the usage of papers, reusing the already used papers and recycling the 100% used papers (waste papers).

Regus Qatar regularly holds a community events in our business centers. In support of the Qatar Sustainability Week, we have launched an initiative and encouraged our clients in our business centre to bring some desk plant during our Diwali Brunch. We had some clients from MTS Qatar and Plenum Trading who participated in this initiative.

تحقيق رؤية ورسالة وزارة التعليم والتعليم العالي المنبثقة من رؤية قطر 2030 ، في ترسيخ ثقافة الاستدامة ونشرها بين كافة فئات المجتمع، حيث كانت لمدرسة بروق مشاركة مثالية ولمختلف الجهات والهيئات المهتمة بقطاع الاستدامة في دولة قطر، في تقديم مبادرات من أولياء امور الطالبات وتسليط الضوء على تفعيلها بالطرق العملية والمبتكرة في مجال الاستدامة.
