Portland is a full-service communications agency. Its Doha office has challenged staff to say no to disposable plastic for 24 hours during Qatar Sustainability Week 2018. That means no plastic bottles, no take-away food containers, and no plastic bags! On the back of this challenge, Portland's Doha office will look at how it can reduce its plastic consumption going forwards.

The students council will make an awareness about the importance of sorting the trash according to their materials ( plastic, papers, organic food) .
On the other hand the Go Green committee will submit the papers to Elite Paper Recycling company.
In addition , the students will plant flowers with the used PVC pipe. They will color the pipes with attractive colors and use colorful flowers to decorate the school entrance.
Gateway Technology will schedule a course about Sustainability Meaning and Description for all Gateway Technology staff
Awaraness class is taken and appointed the students to monitor water and energy waste
Organic garden of vegetables and flowers are planted in the school premises with the help of Scouts and CCF
Art and craft items are made out of waste materials such as plastic bottles,disposable plates,glass,spoons etc
Conducted Seminar to educate students on sustainability
