IDC decided to participate in Qatar Sustainability Week by observing Nov 4 as paperless day in which all the printers in the offices and camp under IDC hall be turned off there by executing the works paper less for the day in support of reducing the use of papers.
Host a tree-planting event in a local park or school grounds to raise awareness about the importance of trees in carbon sequestration and ecosystem health.
Organize a fashion show featuring clothing made from sustainable and upcycled materials. Promote eco-friendly fashion choices and alternatives to fast fashion.
- Highlighting the importance of avoiding one time use plastic and the importance of reduce, reuse and recycle to students. - Donate used books to relevant charity organizations.
- Staff to receive a plant each. Promoting the concept of take a plant home and care for the plant. - Planting across the school using recycled materials. (Tyres/ Pipes)

Students in Grades 6, 7 and 8 will compete to be the most proactive class per grade level leading up to the Qatar Sustainability Week. During that week, the winners will be announced.
From November 4th to the 11th, our preschoolers will take on an important responsibility. They will dedicate two days during this week to planting trees and and for preparing lunch boxes filled with vegetables and fruits, promoting the "eat your greens" theme. Additionally, each day throughout this week, they will begin their mornings by singing songs with an environmental theme.
Collaborating with environmental NGOs in Qatar, to organize a small summit to discuss sustainability and the 2030 vision. Additionally, students will lead awareness campaigns by creating flyers and PowerPoint presentations to share information about recycling campaigns and sustainability in their classrooms.
